The bowling was tight and fielding efforts were sharp with the lads cutting off boundaries to keep the Berkley chase to a slower rate.

Top bowling by Brodie McLaren (0-9 off 3 overs), Regan Tretheway (1-18 off 3) and Will (2-22 off 3) were Morrinsvil­le’s best.

With an exciting finish, Berkley were all bowled out for 211 with an over to spare.

MJCC 2nds won by 4 runs and 6 wickets.
