Police seek attackers

Police are seeking information after a man in his 60s was assaulted in Gisborne’s Riverdale on Saturday night. It’s understood four young men left their vehicle and confronted the man at his door on Park View Place about 9.30pm, demanding alcohol. When he said he had none, he was hit over the head with a bottle, punched and kicked. He is in hospital with head injuries and broken ribs.
