Arrest in sex case

Police have arrested a man after a daylight sexual assault in Takanini, South Auckland last week. The attack took place about midday on Wednesday in a reserve near train tracks between Walters Rd and Tironui Station Rd West. A 41-yearold has been charged and is now before the Manukau District Court. Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin said the attack happened in broad daylight, and they want any witnesses to come forward.
