Equity for iwi workers

The Government will extend pay equity to social workers employed by community iwi organisations who receive Crown funding. That brings about 4600 workers into line with Oranga Tamariki social workers. Social Development and Employment Minister Carmel Sepuloni says this agreement recognises social workers across the system deserve pay equity.
