A new Growing Up in New Zealand survey finds the uptake for the

HPV vaccine is divided along gender lines. The results show more mothers of 8-year-olds would vaccinate their girls, while, the percentage of mothers unsure about the vaccination was higher for boys. Auckland’s Starship Children’s Hospital paediatrician Professor Cameron Grant says these numbers are concerning.
