Frantic finish

Triathlon: Kiwi Hayden Wilde was involved in a frantic finish to the World Triathlon season before France’s Leo Bergere upset the odds to win his first title in Abu Dhabi. The first five finishers in the elite men’s event were separated by just 37 seconds, with Wilde finishing a further 22 seconds back in sixth, when fifth would have been enough to claim the title. He had to settle for third overall.
