Call to remove main act

-

Popular music festival Rhythm and Vines has been urged to remove its headlining artist. An open letter posted by Beneath the Glass Ceiling, an activist group raising awareness of violence in the music industry, is urging organisers to drop Dizzee Rascal from the New Year’s line-up. The grime artist was convicted of domestically abusing his ex-partner earlier this year. The letter has been signed by advocacy groups including Women’s Refuge.
