Seoul crush arrests
South Korea has detained two senior police officers suspected of covering up an intelligence report warning of a potential tragedy before the Halloween crush that killed 158 people. Park Sung-min, a former highranking intelligence officer at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, has been accused of ordering the deletion of an internal document that predicted a possible accident at the site, Yonhap news agency reported. His colleague Kim Jin-ho, a former intelligence officer in the district where the disaster occurred, also allegedly told a subordinate to destroy the report.
