Capital trials e-bikes

Wellington City Council will trial two e-bike share schemes this summer. Cyclists can hire them with an app similar to those used for e-scooters. Operators and users will need to demonstrate they will leave bikes in safe, or designated spots and keep Wellington streets and footpaths as safe as possible. The trial is set to launch in January.
