■ To all the hard work of teachers and students throughout the school year as it starts to wind up. So many great achievements among our local schools.

■ To the big Christmas tree being up in Te Manawa. Love the festive vibe it brings to the city centre. ■ To the playground at Matahi Spit, Lake Rotomā being damaged. Our children should not have to miss out on things coming into the busy summer period because of the poor acts of whoever is responsible.
