International clinicians Bernie Traurig and Warwick Schiller have pencilled Equidays onto their calendars.

Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) Chief Executive Jim Ellis said Equidays has established itself as a key part of the equestrian calendar.

‘‘The attendance of such internationally renowned coaches will further cement its place as a must-see event.‘‘

Multi-talented US rider and coach Bernie Traurig, will be heading to New Zealand in October to join a diverse range of accomplished equine professionals and clinicians at Equidays.

Bernie represented the United States Equestrian Team on many occasions and reached the top of the sport in all three of the International Equestrian Olympic disciplines: Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing.

As a Horseman, Bernie is known for not only his riding talents but his teaching and coaching skills.

Bernie said he is driven to give back to the sport that has given him so much fulfilment and success, and is looking forward to Equidays where he will be giving Show Hunter and Jumping clinics.

Also travelling to New Zealand and Equidays later this year will be renowned US based rider and horse trainer Warwick Schiller.

Australian Schiller moved to the United States to pursue his dream of training horses. With a passion for reining he went on to become a National Reining Horse Association Reserve World Champion.

He now conducts many horsemanship and reining clinics around the world and said he is extremely excited to be participating in Equidays this October.

‘‘I am looking forward to taking several reining and performance horsemanship clinics over the three day event.’’

Preparations at Mystery Creek Events Centre are now well underway for Equidays, the annual multi- discipline equine event held October 17 to 19 at Mystery Creek Events Centre, Hamilton.
