Traffic chaos

Stratford Press - - News -

I agree with S Robertson, who wrote regarding the traffic chaos around schools. If people don’t take more care, an accident is sure to happen.

While S Robertson observed trucks causing some of the chaos, near my child’s school it is other parents who are the biggest danger in my opinion. Parents double park, park in non parking areas, or simply stop in the middle of the road so their child doesn’t have to walk in the rain or cold more than a metre or two.

I wold love to see the local police or a traffic warden patrolling outside schools to ticket every car that breaks the road rules in these ways. What is the point of teaching children the road rules when it is their own parents who so blatently flaunt them?
