Swimmers competing
CMK Stratford Flyers had three representatives at the Swimming New Zealand Short Course Championships that ran October 2 - 6.
With over 500 swimmers from all around New Zealand as well as visiting overseas teams competition was very strong. For the three swimmers the qualifying times had been set 12 weeks out from the competition and it was their first time making this team.

Nina Goble 13 years; 6th 200 back, 13th 200 free, 15th 100 back, 16th 200 medley, 17th 100 free and 20th 100 medley. Luca Zabel 15 yrs; 7th 200 fly, 8th 100 fly, 13th 50 fly, 14th 100 free, 15th in 400 free. Alexandra McGeoch 13ys; 14th 200 breast, 22nd 100 breast. The Flyers Squad also did well at the recent Flyers Carnival, with Arnika Watson joining the National Division 2 team for the first time and Nina Goble and Anina Loveridge breaking Stratford records.
