Many now hit­ting the scare­crow trail

The Strat­ford Scare­crow Trail of­fi­cially opened last Fri­day and over the week­end plenty of peo­ple got out and went on a scare­crow hunt!

Those tak­ing part in the trail are en­cour­aged to vote for their favourite scare­crow for the Peo­ple’s Choice Award (Spon­sored by Cot­tage Lane). There are also five other cat­e­gories in­clud­ing — Preschool (spon­sored by Thyme Out), Pri­mary School (spon­sored by Mitre 10 Strat­ford), Open (spon­sored by ITM Strat­ford) and Busi­ness (spon­sored by Strat­ford Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion) and a new cat­e­gory has been in­tro­duced this year, for the best use of re­cy­cled ma­te­ri­als (spon­sored by Strat­ford Dis­trict Coun­cil).

Each en­try form that is re­turned by the close of the trail will go in the draw to win one of three $100 Strat­ford Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion vouch­ers.

Trail maps and en­try forms are be avail­able to pick up from the Strat­ford Dis­trict Li­brary and Strat­ford i-SITE.
