The small animal tent is hugely popular and houses a huge variety of animals both large and small and is the perfect place for children to interact with our four legged friends. Children will also enjoy the Wonky Donkey Man, Craig Smith, as he entertains with his great array of song and performance. This year the beautifully gentle Clydesdale Horses also will be at the show and are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Taranaki wide radio station, The Hits are also running a Kids Karaoke competition for children to sing and enter to win bikes from Seaver Cycles in Hawera in both age sections (7-11 years and 12-15 years). Children can enter by sending their name, age and contact number to taranaki@nzme.co.nz. Local daytime announcer Emma Helleur will be at the show on the Friday, so make sure you come and say hi.
