ALICE’S ART CORNER Make a little elf for Xmas

Stratford Press - - Year In Review -

With the festive season approaching, it’s time to get out the craft supplies to make some fun Christmas art to decorate the house.

Making little elves are pretty straight forward and you only need a few supplies which are usually lying around the house.

Children can use them as little puppets as a way to get into some Christmas play.

Make your elf a little pointy hat by cutting out a cardboard circle, putting a spilt in it and then taping it together. Choose some festive colours like red, green and black or pick any colours you like. Make a little belt and don’t forget to cut out two pointy ears to stick on as well. Pop your little elf under the Christmas tree, pass it along as a gift or make a whole family to keep.

Gather up your supplies — scissors, glue, a toilet paper roll, glitter, stickers and coloured paper.
