Change of night for twilight golf

-

Strathmore Golf Club’s twilight golf has started with a change of night.

It will now be held on Friday with a tee off at 4pm at the golf club.

This will be trialled until Christmas to see how it goes.

There was a good turnout last Friday with the good old faithfuls but also some new and young faces which is awesome.

Vaughan and his team have been working hard over the shutdown and the course looks great. Greens have just been cored which perhaps was reflected in some of the scores but they will soon be top-notch.

Tippy won on the first night with 18 points, followed by son Logan with 17. Shane Jury came third with 16 and Spud Bonner, Oscar Lourie and Simon Edwards fourth equal with 15.

The club’s AGM, dinner and prizegiving were held at the end of October.
