Three points
Chelsea’s new striker Michy Batshuayi was lucky not to collect an unwanted three points before the start of new Premier League season, after he had his £180,000 (NZ$325,300) Lamborghini towed away by Spanish police in Ibiza while on holiday. The Belgian striker, signed for £33 million (NZ$59.64m) from Marseille last week, parked his supercar under a tree to keep it in the shade, until it was removed and he was slapped with a £330 (NZ$596) fine – loose change for a Premier League footballer. Under UK laws, Batshuayi would have likely been hit with three points on his driving licence, which is just what his new club will hope for when they kick off the new season at home to Winston Reid’s West Ham United.
