Church blaze

The blaze which destroyed a Levin church yesterday is believed to be the latest in a string of arsons in the area. Fire crews called to Levin Life Church at 2am yesterday found the building well ablaze, and it burned to the ground. Horowhenua CIB’s Detective Steve Yates said it was a potential arson, and police were investigating links to other suspicious fires in the area over the past two months.
