Ko hangs tough with 70 as Lee makes US cut
Kiwi star Lydia Ko (72-70) is five shots off the pace at the LPGA’s Mediheal Championship behind Danielle Kang (US), who shot 66 for a one-stroke lead yesterday in San Francisco. Kang is seven under, one better than Leona Maguire (Ireland, 73) and Lauren Kim (US, 69). On the men’s PGA Tour, Chesson Hadley (US) carded a five-under 66 for a two-stroke lead over Dustin Johnson (68) in the Palmetto Championship. NZ’s Danny Lee (67-73) is 20th.
