Ko falls back as Alker fires 68 to stay in hunt

NZ’s Lydia Ko (69-68) is eight shots behind South Korea’s Narin An (64-65) at the LPGA’s Canadian Open in Ottawa. Ko birdied the last three holes on the front nine yesterday, but could only manage one more. Kiwi pro Steven Alker (68) had a 33 back nine and is three behind USA’s Fred Funk (65) in Michigan on the US senior tour. Kiwi No 1 Ryan Fox (71-70) missed the Euro tour cut in Switzerlan­d.
