Black Ferns co-captain Kennedy Simon missed the season’s opening three tests with a knee injury and just six weeks out from the World Cup, was helped from the field during the team’s 22-14 win over the Wallaroos in Adelaide with a calf problem. Now it looks like the star loose forward will be in a race to confirm fitness for the main event.
