US starlet Lucy Li leaves Lydia Ko trailing by six

Kiwi star Lydia Ko (66-72) slid six shots behind rookie US leader Lucy Li (68-64) at the LPGA’s Dana Open in Ohio yesterday. Ko bogeyed six, nine and 11 before a late birdie on the par-five 17th. Li, 19, is bogey-free through 36 holes. Chasing her at 8-under are China’s Ruoning Yin (65-69) and Spain’s Carlota Ciganda (65-69). Matthew Wolff (US) fired an ace that carried him to a 7-under 63 and a one-shot lead over British Open champion, $140m Aussie signing Cameron Smith (64), in the LIV’s Boston event.
