Today marks the end of an era as Pukekohe Raceway bows out from historical pole position for New Zealand motorsport – a history that dates back to its first Grand Prix in 1963 and the Aussie Supercars in 2001. Yesterday saw Kiwi Andre Heimgartne­r force his way onto the V8s podium to finish second behind Will Davison, with Cam Waters starting from pole and finishing third.
