Today marks the end of an era as Pukekohe Raceway bows out from historical pole position for New Zealand motorsport – a history that dates back to its first Grand Prix in 1963 and the Aussie Supercars in 2001. Yesterday saw Kiwi Andre Heimgartner force his way onto the V8s podium to finish second behind Will Davison, with Cam Waters starting from pole and finishing third.
