The Black Ferns’ demolition job of Japan yesterday showed what a thrilling team they are to watch and how exciting their World Cup defence will be when the tournament kicks off in less than a fortnight. So it’s no surprise there are a few glum faces that the World Cup won’t be played south of Auckland.
