Summer’s shaping up

Since the turn of the millennium, summer in New Zealand hasn’t been summer without a few shows from drum’n’bass greats Shapeshifter. And they’ve just announced where fans will be able to catch up with them. Beach Break Whangamata will take place on Auckland Anniversary Weekend 2023 at Williamson Park, Whangamata, where Shapeshifter are joined by Australian psych-rock group Ocean Alley, rootsdriven hypnotic dance trio My Baby, Raglan groovers Masaya and rising

Auckland surf-rock and reggae band Flaxxies. Beach Break Nelson will be Shapeshifter’s exclusive South Island show this summer, where the band are supported by roots and rock fusion legends Kora. They even tease there will be more announcements in coming weeks.
