Pereira eyes first PGA win, Hillier stays hot
Chile’s Mito Pereira (67-63) leads the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas, making birdie on half of his holes yesterday, forging a one-shot lead over US rookie Robby Shelton (68-63) as both chase maiden US PGA wins. NZ’s Danny Lee (71-72) missed the cut by five. NZ’s Daniel Hillier (69-72) is four shots back at the European Challenge in Cornwall, ranked seventh this season as he chases a full card.
