Alker rallies with three birdies as Fox, Lee falter

Kiwi pro Steven Alker (72) is seven back at the latest seniors US tour event in North Carolina, with US leader Rocco Mediate (65) setting the pace yesterday. Alker was three over after 11 holes, but slotted three birdies to stay in touch. NZ’s Ryan Fox (74-72) missed the cut by one in Spain, while NZ’s Danny Lee (68-75-65) trails US leader Rickie Fowler (67-63-66) by 12 at the PGA’s Zozo event in Japan.
