Money spent on a horse, Woodbury Lad. Horan says he and his mother owned the filly together.

Money spent at a motel in New Plymouth when Horan was delivering a speech for Peters. Horan says he can prove his mother stayed at the motel with him.

Money spent at apartments in Mt Maunganui. Horan says he and his wife got married there and his mother paid for the rooms.

Money spent at Dunedin casino. Horan says his mother was on a South Island bus tour and must have gone to the casino.

Sums of $50 and $100 spent at Papamoa Family Tavern. Horan says that would have been his mother gambling and using the pokies.

Money spent at a menswear store. Horan says his mother insisted on buying him a suit.

Money spent at the Rain Bar in Wellington. Horan says he can’t explain the transactio­n but does not believe he has ever visited the bar.

Money spent at the Dance Attic in Hamilton. Horan says his mother bought dance shoes for her granddaugh­ter. She would often go shopping in malls in Hamilton while he was on business in the city.
