Marches on cruelty

Hundreds of people protested against battery farming and animal cruelty in various cities yesterday as part of a National Day of Action against Factory Farming. Safe spokeswoman Mandy Carter said those involved in battery farming were not listening. Five hundred marched in Auckland.
