The body of a 19-year-old man found on the shores of Karaka Bay in Wellington has been confirmed to be that of a teen who went missing in the Hutt River on Thursday. The man reportedly had gone swimming with a friend in the rain-swollen river. His identity has not yet been revealed by police. Meanwhile, The body of a 65-yearold tramper who went missing on Friday has been found. The man was overdue from a day-long tramp in the Jackson Bay area of south Westland when he went missing. His body was found by search and rescue staff near a bluff in the coastal area between Smoothwate­r and Stafford Bay. There were no suspicious circumstan­ces, and the death has been referred to the Coroner.
