Scare for singer

The singer with 90’s teen band S Club 7 has been treated at Auckland Hospital for a strangulated bowel condition. Jo O-Meara’s health scare led to the cancellation of the group’s Friday night Auckland show, while the Saturday show was to go ahead without her. Promoters confirmed O’Meara was rushed to hospital early Friday morning and that could require a "fairly major operation". She was, however, discharged yesterday afternoon a hospital spokesperson said.
