Phew, I almost lost them before I said that Makos stuff. That’s another thing I love about New Zealand, our good humour and forgiveness for nonsensical lists.

4) Scenic beauty. This is where our relaxed personalities pay off. While other countries were slashing and burning forests to make way for development and economic growth, we were a bit lazy, and now other countries pay us to come here and look at how little we’ve done with the place! It’s called Kiwi ingenuity.

5) Generosity. I ran the battery flat on a diesel van the other day and a dude I hardly knew who used to be a mechanic came and sorted it out in a jiffy. Obviously, this is anecdotal evidence, but I like to believe Kiwis will help out when they can. I just wish I had a skill to lend to people. If anyone needs editing help: I am clearly not your man.
