Stabbing charge

Police have launched a homicide investigation after a woman died of stab wounds in Taupo. Emergency services were called to a house in Five Mile Bay yesterday morning. A 58-year-old woman was flown to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition where she died. A 56-year-old man will appear in the Rotorua District Court tomorrow charged with murder. Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
