Tramper injured

A man is in Wellington Hospital with chest injuries after falling from the roof of a hut in the Rimutaka Forest Park overnight yesterday. The Westpac rescue helicopter winched a crewman down to the Haurangi Hut in the Orongorongo Valley to treat the man at the scene before airlifting him to hospital. He was in a stable condition.
