What to do

Set among the cliffs of Longqing Gorge, 85km north of Beijing, is the seemingly out of place dragon escalator. The bright yellow dragon is the world’s longest outdoor escalator and rises 258 metres. At the top, you can ride a cable car or bungee jump into the gorge. This escalator is only one way, but you can ride a toboggan back down.
