Police cars rammed

Three police cars were rammed during a car chase in Christchurch in the early hours of yesterday. Police said the pursuit started when they tried to pull over a ute in Linwood at around 2am, and ended thanks to road spikes near Latimer Square in the central city. Police arrested four youths. A 16-year-old man appeared in the Christchurch District Court yesterday facing driving and drugs charges. The other three individuals were referred to Youth Aid.
