The Sumerian, Aztec, Egyptian, Incan and Mayan civilisations all suggest there are mysteries about where they came from, and how they built the magnificent temples and societies they did. Troy Kingi’s second album - Shake Your Skinny Ass All The Way To Zygertron -is a bit like that, full of mystery, a sort of sci-fi fairytale, which alludes to, in songs such as Aztechknowledgy and

Million Light Years (the approximate distance to the Orion constellation), fantasy and reality at the same time. Funk and soul are Kingi’s fuel for lift-off. The twilight zone he explores is a blast.
