Manson decision

-

The fight for the remains of Charles Manson was thrown out of a Los Angeles court yesterday. Judge David Cowan divided the two duelling Manson cases, deciding that litigation over the estate should remain in Los Angeles, because that was where Manson lived when he was convicted of the 1969 murders of nine people, but that the case over his remains belongs in either Kings County, where the cult leader was imprisoned, or Kern County, where he died in hospital last November. So far, three parties have staked claims to collect Manson’s body and take control of any assets.
