Love is caring and sharing. Through all of this, everything we have been through in 38 years, caring and sharing has been the most important thing when it comes to love.

When I told him I had been asked what love means, he held out his arms for a hug and said ‘‘ahh’’. It’s the moments like that when you know it’s love. I share everything, which I like to think is what is helping him do so well. I share with him what he wants to do. Traditionally a groom doesn’t see a bride in her dress until she walks down the aisle. But he is such a special guy, so when we got married again, I shared with him the choice of the dress. I picked out two and he chose the one I wore.

Love really is caring and sharing.

Linda recently married her husband Michael for the second time. Michael suffers from dementia, and forgot they were already married, but he knew Linda was the girl for him. Due to Michael’s illness, this will be the couple’s first Valentines Day apart in 38 years.
