‘Kiwi’ crim

How utterly stupid of the Australian government to deport to New Zealand an American-Samoa born man who has never set foot in this country.

As a teenager Alex Viane moved to Australia from American Samoa, then was adopted by his Kiwi uncle, who lives in Australia. Yet Viane is being deported to our country. How ridiculous is that?

Our Government must step in and do something about this wrangle before it is too late, otherwise Viane – who has committed criminal offences in Australia, not New Zealand – will be here without his wife and two children.
