What inspired your move, and how long have you been there?

I visited Glacier National Park, Montana, for the first time in June 2015 and couldn’t get it out of my mind. I was living in New York City at the time and finishing my final semester at New York University where I was completing a Masters in Clinical Nutrition.

To feed my Montana craving, I started an Instagram account called @wilderness_addict where I started to share all my photos from the trip.

To my complete surprise the account soon took off and I began to get approached by brands with offers to work together.

As much as I adored New York City for the four years that I lived there, I was ready for a change of pace. New York is an amazing place with incredible restaurants, shopping and nightlife but it is also one of the most expensive places in the world to live and extremely high paced.

So after I graduated I decided to make the big move cross-country to Montana and pursue my love of photography and travel. I have now been based in northwest Montana for nearly two years and absolutely love it. I have been in the US for almost nine years, living in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Vermont, New York and now Montana.

What do you do there?

I work 20-25 hours a week as a wellness coach/dietitian and spend the rest of my time travelling and exploring, plus working as a social media influencer/photographer. I work with a lot of brands and occasionally a tourism board by sharing my experiences on my Instagram account.

What are the greatest advantages to living there?

I am only 20 minutes away from Glacier National Park and just a twohour drive to Canada. There are endless beautiful places to explore all around me.
