Big win for Coll in Cairo

New Zealand world No 7 Paul Coll has come from one game down in Cairo to take out Germany’s world No 3 Simon Rosner, to reach his second semifinal at a PSA Platinum event. It was just the second time in his career Coll has beaten a top three ranked player. Coll was slow out of the blocks, as Rosner started strongly to take the first game 11-5. The momentum then shifted as the Kiwi mounted an impressive comeback to win the next three games 11-3 11-7 11-3 and secure victory in 54 minutes. Coll will face second ranked Ali Farag in the semifinals.
