Drug bust after drone shot
A 46-year-old New South Wales man has been charged with eight offences after he allegedly shot down a drone on the state’s Mid North Coast. Police began inquiries after a real estate agent went to a property in Burrell Creek on Thursday to take aerial footage with a drone. An occupant of the house, Jamie Robert Lulham, shot the drone with a firearm, police allege. During a subsequent search of the property, police located and seized 187 cannabis plants, 20 kilograms of dried cannabis and a sum of cash. They also seized an unregistered .22-calibre rifle. Lulham has been charged with firearms and drug offences.
