Lee leaps up leaderboard
New Zealand’s Danny Lee had the low round of the day to put himself in title contention midway through the PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida. Lee shot a fiveunder-par 67 that left him one shot behind coleaders Tyrrell Hatton and Sung Kang. Lee had six birdies and a bogey in his second round for a two-round tally of 138 to be at six-under. Englishman Hatton posted a second-round 69 and South Korea’s Sung Kang a 68. Rory McIlroy (73), Sungjae Im (69) and Harris English (70) are two strokes off the lead.
