Fifita puts Knights to sword with hat-trick

The return of star fullback Kalyn Ponga was not enough to stop a David Fifita-inspired Gold Coast romping to a 42-16 NRL home win over a depleted Newcastle in the NRL yesterday. The Titans ran in eight tries to three, including a first career hat-trick for rugged forward Fifita. Ponga made a successful return from shoulder surgery, notching a 68th-minute try and looking dangerous with the ball in hand.
