What’s one place you would take every visitor to New Zealand, and why?

For me, it will always be the Milford Track. I walked the track in January, and found the scenery fascinating.

It’s the best place to get the complete ‘‘in touch with nature experience’’ and be surrounded by native bush.

It also offered the chance to meet some really lovely people during the five-day group tour.

What’s your secret backyard favourite spot?

I love Monte Cecilia Park in Hillsborough, Auckland.

It’s a park I use often, and is such a lovely place for a good 15-minute walk.

You get a great view of One Tree Hill and the historical Pah Homestead, an art gallery at the top of the hill.

The park is a great place for a little picnic.

What’s your favourite place for a pie and/or coffee?

My favourite place for a pie and coffee is any of the Kreem Cafes in Auckland. I enjoy the mini mince pies, and my coffee is a flat white.

Kreem’s coffee never disappoints. The cafe also has a variety of delicious pastries for on the go, which are all very tempting.

What’s one New Zealand spot that’s at the top of your bucket list?

At the top of my bucket list is to see the Aurora Australis from Stewart Island.

It would be really nice to visit to see the beautiful Southern Lights and spend time on the island.

I have also heard that Stewart Island is a great place to spot native kiwi, which would be a real bonus.
