Ten Percent (April 28, Amazon Prime Video)

Netflix’s hit French dramedy Call My Agent gets an English makeover in this eight-part series created by W1A and Twenty Twelve’s John Morton. As with the original, it focus on the misadventu­res of a talent agency and its high-profile clients. Stars scheduled to appear here include Kelly MacDonald, Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Williams, Dominic West, David Oyelowo, Hiimesh Patel and Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor.

Shining Girls (April 29, Apple TV+)

Based on a 2013 novel by South African author Lauren Beukes, this eight-part crime-drama sees a brutal attack survivor team up with a veteran reporter to try and establish a link between her assault and a recent murder. Elisabeth Moss, Jamie Bell, Wagner Moura, Amy Brenneman and Phillipa Soo star. ‘‘If you’re willing to pace yourself, and let the mysteries of Shining Girls slowly envelope you, you might be rewarded with an addictive new series,’’ wrote Slashfilm’s Chris Evangelist­a.

The Offer (April 29, TVNZ OnDemand)

Miles Teller, Matthew Goode, Juno Temple and Colin Hanks are amongst the all-star cast enlisted for this dramatisat­ion of Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s trials and tribulatio­ns in attempting to bring Mario Puzo’s The Godfather to the big screen 50 years ago. The 10-part series promises to reveal some of the biggest dramas and never-before-seen troubles that unfolded off-screen, as Francis Ford Coppola and his cast and crew created one of the most iconic gangster films in movie history.
