VISIT: The Only Dream Left

A major exhibition spanning 25 years of work from artist Reuben Paterson (Ngāti Rangitihi, Ngāi Tūhoe, Tūhourangi) will open at Wellington’s City Gallery later this month, featuring painting, sculpture, installati­on and video. Paterson, who has had a longstandi­ng creative relationsh­ip with fashion brand World, has developed his signature use of glitter. His works are often mesmerisin­g and whimsical with something sinister under the surface. This will be his largest exhibition to date. The So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings singer releases her new album on Tuesday and, fittingly for its Valentine’s Day release date, it is titled Desire, I Want To Turn Into You.
