Teacher arrested

Detectives investigating allegations of child sexual abuse have arrested a teacher at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, England. Wen Zhou Li, 57, a violin teacher, was detained on suspicion of rape. Police were making inquiries after the conviction of Michael Brewer, the school’s former choirmaster, and his former wife, Kay, for sex offences against violinist Frances Andrade, 48, who committed suicide after giving evidence.
